For Open Conversations LLC, which uses RingCentral SMS/MMS for client correspondence through RingCentral, it's essential to have clear and easy-to-understand opt-in and opt-out instructions to comply with communication policies and respect client preferences. 

Opt-In Instructions for Open Conversations LLC via RingCentral SMS/MMS

  1. Initial      Sign-Up:
    • Clients       can opt-in to receive SMS/MMS messages by texting "JOIN" to a       specific number provided by Open Conversations LLC.
    • Alternatively,       during the registration process on the Open Conversations LLC website and       via a service agreement, clients can choose to opt-in by checking a box       that indicates their consent to receive text messages for informational,       marketing, or promotional purposes during the intake process.

  1. Confirmation      Message:
    • Once       opted in, clients will receive a confirmation message thanking them for       subscribing. This message should clearly state the type of content they       will receive and how often.

Example Confirmation Message:

"Thank you for opting in to receive updates from Open Conversations LLC! You'll get [type of content, e.g., tips, updates, offers] no more than [frequency, e.g., once a week]. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe."

Opt-Out Instructions for Open Conversations LLC via RingCentral SMS/MMS

  1. Opt-Out      (Unsubscribe):
    • Clients       can opt-out at any time by texting "STOP" to the same number       from which they are receiving messages.
    • After       sending "STOP," clients should receive an automatic       confirmation of unsubscribing.

  1. Confirmation      of Unsubscription:
    • An       acknowledgment message should be sent to confirm that no more messages       will be sent.

Example Unsubscription Confirmation Message:

"You have unsubscribed from Open Conversations LLC messages. You will no longer receive [type of content]. If this was a mistake, text JOIN to [number] to re-subscribe."

  1. Additional      Help:
    • For       clients who need further assistance or have questions about their       subscription, provide a "HELP" option. When clients text       "HELP" to your number, they should receive information on how       to contact customer support or manage their message preferences.

Example Help Message:

"Need help? Contact Open Conversations LLC at [phone number] or [email] for more assistance."
